Description
Bay leaves are great for that woodsy taste and smell in dishes, such as red beans, stews, gumbo, and much more. Storebought leaves need to be pierced to release more flavor, but then you still have to fish them out later and use quite a lot to get any flavor out of them. These bay leaves are harvested and dehydrated immediately, which results in a much more flavorful and aromatic herb. Using ground bay leaves lets you use as little or as much as you want without dealing with the mess.
